IMAP, JMAP, SMTP, CalDAV and CardDAV on your own domain. Your people keep Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or the app already on their phone.
| MX | mail.oltrano.com | ok |
| SPF | v=spf1 include:mail.oltrano.com ~all | ok |
| DKIM | olt2609._domainkey | ok |
| DMARC | p=none; rua=mailto:… | add |
We read your zone and tell you what is actually in it — including which provider it points at today, not just pass or fail.
Usually none of it: autodiscover and autoconfig are published, so Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird find the settings from the address alone.
A warning you will actually get: an SPF record exists but does not include us. Add include:… to the existing record — do not add a second SPF record, two of them make both invalid.
Migration
Not the MX yet. Mail keeps arriving where it arrives today.
Passwords generated and shown once. We store a hash, never the password.
Folders, dates and read state, over IMAP, while the old box still receives.
The only moment anything changes, and you pick it.
To collect what arrived in between. Everyone forgets this; we put it in the interface.
Only mailboxes with storage count against your plan.
Spam is refused at the door rather than accepted and bounced — accepting then bouncing is what turns a mail server into a spam source. Per-mailbox send limits exist from the first day, so one stolen password cannot burn the reputation of everyone else on the machine.
